Demon Hunters: Sects & Violence
The Demon Hunters are members of the Brotherhood of the Celestial Torch. They are the first, last, and only line of defense between mankind and the forces of supernatural evil. These brave men and women and … other, sacrifice their lives (often) to protect the world from darkness.
These are the tales of one of the many chapters of the Brotherhood. They started out as Omegas, the lowest of the low, the bottom of the barrel, extraordinary misfits, pond scum, and, in other words, rookies. Although the members were powerful, they were raw, barely-trained, sometimes slow witted, reckless, rebellious, pond scum, in other words, rookies.
In spite of all of these qualities, the members of Omega 13 were eager to learn more and possibly rise in the ranks of the Brotherhood of the Celestial Torch. They started out stationed in Minot, North Dakota as a lookout team. Their job was to watch for any unlikely supernatural activities and call in a higher ranking chapter to come in and take care of things.
As usual, things do not always work out the way they are supposed to.
They were eager to prove themselves, and after a few missions, the Brotherhood decided that if they were going to continually get involved (and win), then they would officially be promoted. Some higher ups complained about insubordination and failure to follow orders, but the majority of them thought that they were brave, and efficient. Luckily, a psi chapter reached their inevitable conclusion (dead, all dead, in horrible ways) and a spot was opened up.
On that day, they were promoted to Psi 17!
